Jungle Trekking — a 2-Day Adventure from Pattaya
Jungle Trekking is a two-day mountain adventure through the wild tropical forests of Chanthaburi Province, eastern Thailand. Discover hidden waterfalls, swim in natural rock pools, hike along mountain streams and explore remote jungle trails far away from the usual tourist crowds.
This is not a sightseeing tour or a leisurely nature walk! There are no paved paths, concrete stairways or handrails along much of the route. Instead, you will navigate rocky riverbeds, climb over boulders, cross natural obstacles and follow narrow trails through dense tropical forest.
The experience also includes a boat trip through mangroves to a floating restaurant and an overnight stay at a peaceful riverside hotel. Throughout the mountain trekking sections, participants are accompanied by experienced mountaineering instructors and a national park ranger.

What Makes This Jungle Trek So Special?
Chanthaburi is home to spectacular mountain forests, tropical rivers and waterfalls hidden deep in the jungle. While most visitors explore popular national park attractions, our route takes you into rarely visited areas where the landscape remains largely untouched by mass tourism.
There are no tourist highways, comfortable concrete stairways or carefully maintained sightseeing paths. Instead, the experience involves hiking through tropical forest, navigating natural rock formations and following mountain streams.
The reward is extraordinary scenery: enormous tropical trees, secluded waterfalls, natural swimming pools and the atmosphere of a real wilderness adventure. These are places where you are unlikely to encounter large tour groups.
Professional Mountain Instructors
The trekking group is accompanied by 2–3 professional mountaineering and mountain trekking instructors with extensive experience leading commercial groups on demanding mountain routes, including challenging high-altitude expeditions.
They are experienced outdoor specialists, not simply sightseeing guides who know a particular trail. The instructors demonstrate safe movement techniques, help participants negotiate difficult obstacles and supervise the group’s progress throughout the trek.
A national park ranger also accompanies the mountain route. A licensed Thai guide is involved in the overall tour organization, while the instructors and ranger lead the actual jungle trekking sections.
No technical climbing skills are required, but good physical fitness is essential.
